Glacé fruit is also known as ‘candied’ or ‘crystallised’ fruit. These delicious chunks of Australian grown ginger have been prepared in sugar syrup. It has a sweet and slightly spicy flavour and aroma and is perfect for baking, cake decorating, cheese platters and festive occasions. A handy addition to the pantry.


How to Use:

This glace ginger can be used in these whole chunks or chopped into finer pieces before adding to baking and dessert recipes. Add some to homemade ice cream and gelato, chocolates and confections. Use this delightful ginger to decorate cakes and puddings, or serve it on fruit and cheese platters. Perfect for a festive spread.

This ginger is a detectable addition to preserves including marmalade, chutney and pickles. Or put some in a jar and tie with a ribbon or raffia as a lovely Australian made gift.

Storage:

Store in an airtight container in a cool (15 o – 25o C), dry place, away from direct sunlight. Refrigeration is recommended in warm climates.
