This lupin is seasonally harvested, steamed and then simply rolled in a press to make these delicious flakes.
Australian lupin flakes have a golden yellow colour, a slightly nutty flavour and a subtle fresh aroma.
How To Use:
This little flake has it all. It’s packed with fibre and protein, has only 4% carbs and keeps you feeling full for ages.
Use it in cakes and bread, savoury dishes, salads and even muesli.
It’s great for crumbing and as a thickener for stews and soups. If you can’t eat couscous, try this instead. Simply pour enough boiling water over flakes to cover and allow to sit, lid on, for 3 mins. Fluff up with a fork and add butter or oil and herbs and spices.
