Australian Lupin Flour

This Lupin, a member of the legume family, is grown and processed in Australia. It is GMO-free with no added preservatives. Lupin is an important part of crop rotation that is valued for the plants ability to aerate the soil and add nitrogen. Australian lupin flour has a golden yellow colour, a slightly nutty flavour and a subtle fresh aroma. Lupin flour is a wonderful baking ingredient and great for gluten-free recipes.

How to Use:

Combine about 1/2-1/4 of lupin flour with other flours of your choice for wonderful home-baked bread, muffins and biscuits. Use it in pizza dough, pancake and crepe batters, waffles, steamed puddings, or pie pastry. A great gluten-friendly replacement for dusting fish, meat, poultry or veggies.

Store in an airtight container in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight. Refrigerate in warm climates.

Shelf Life:

Up to 24 months when stored as above. See Best Before date.
