Organic Australian grown wholegrain wheat is simply roller milled to create this plain flour. Wholemeal Baker’s flour contains the wheat bran, germ and endosperm.
How To Use:
Wholemeal bakers flour is made from hard wheat that has a sightly higher protein level and gluten content which makes it more elastic when making dough. That’s why this flour is the perfect choice for homemade bread, crackers, flatbreads, pasta and pizza bases.
Wholemeal flours use the whole grain which means they also need more moisture when cooking.
If your recipe does not stipulate wholemeal flour, you may need to add more liquid.
