Australian Raw Pistachio Kernels



Pistachio kernels are a green nut that is a member of the Cashew family. These premium Australian grown raw unsalted pistachios have no added preservatives and are non-GMO. Delicious and versatile, pistachios have a sharp nutty flavour and firm texture. They are a wonderful, convenient snack and ingredient in sweet and savoury dishes.

How to Use:

Great as a snack on their own or combined with other nuts, dried fruits and seeds in a scrumptious trail mix. Add roughly chopped pistachios to muesli and granola, or sprinkle over porridge, yoghurt or smoothie bowls.

Raw pistachios can be activated by soaking them in water for 12 hours, before slowly dehydrating at a very low heat. Or grind them to make yummy dairy-free nut butter – wonderful for vegans and in raw food recipes.

Coarsely ground pistachios are also great in veggie burgers, pesto, dips and as a base for sauces; use it to replace peanuts in satay sauce.

Toss pistachios over fresh salads, or add to stir-fries, curries, couscous and rice dishes.

Pistachios are a delicious addition to bread, muffins, cakes and biscuits including traditional Biscotti. Or use them in home-made ice cream and confections such as baklava, halva and raw, vegan or dairy chocolate.


Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Refrigeration recommended in warm climates.
