Brewer’s Yeast is made from the Saccharomyces cerevisiae fungus, which has been heated and inactivated. This fine powder is a light beige colour and has a nutty, bitter taste which some enjoy.
How To Use:
It’s sometimes consumed for extra vitamin B and to improve gut health.
Add 1-2 tsp of brewer’s yeast to smoothies, fruit juice or milk or include it in raw slices and superfood balls.
If adding to warm dishes such as porridge and sauces, include it just before serving to maintain the nutritional benefits.
Storage:
Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. See Best Before date.
