When you can’t make up your mind whether you want chocolate pudding or fruit cake for dessert this Christmas, we’ve got you covered! Our Christmas Brownie recipe in a jar is the best of both worlds. It is rich, chocolatey and gooey just like a brownie should be, but has the added Christmas spirit of warming spices and dried fruit.
To Add:
• 150g butter, melted
• 3 eggs, lightly beaten
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
Method:
1. Preheat oven to 160˚C. Line a 20cm square cake tin with baking paper. Leave some of the paper hanging over the sides to make the brownie easier to remove later.
2. Place contents of the jar into a bowl. Add butter, eggs and vanilla. Mix until combined. Pour into prepared baking tray.
3. Bake for 25-35 minutes or until the top springs back when pressed with a finger. Take care not to overcook.
4. Cool slightly before removing from the tray and cutting into brownies.
Store in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
A perfect dessert to share at your Christmas celebration or gift the jar to a loved one this Christmas.
Makes 16 brownies.
Storage:
Store jar in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. See Best Before date.

NOTE: Our chocolates are cool, but the weather is not. We will do our best to protect them when being delivered, but they may be heat affected if travelling long distances. Unfortunately, we can't guarantee that they will arrive in the same shape as when they left us.
