Our Bush Spice Seed Crackers with Wattle Seed is a recipe-in-a-bag that is a perfect hassle-free pantry staple with everything needed, included in the bag, except water.

The wattle seeds and bush spices offer a warm, earthy flavour, making them a perfect crunchy addition to your platters, salads and soups.

To Add:

• 500mL lukewarm water
• ½ tsp ground black pepper


1. Preheat oven to 180˚C.
2. Place the contents of the bag into a large bowl and combine with water and pepper.
3. Let stand for 30 minutes to allow the water to absorb and the mix to slightly thicken to a gooey consistency.
4. Stir the mixture again then spread a thin, even layer onto a lined, large oven tray.
5. Bake for 30 minutes.
6. Remove from oven. Gently turn the slab out and remove the baking paper. Return crackers to oven and bake for a further 10 minutes.
7. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely. Break into pieces.

Store in an airtight container.

Serve alongside dips and toppings.

Break crackers up and use them as a crunchy topping on salad and soups.
