Chamomile or Matricaria Recutita is a small daisy-like plant in the Asteraceae family. Also known as German Chamomile, this herb and has been lauded for centuries for its soothing qualities. The sweet aroma and flavour of this certified organic chamomile combine to make a wonderful herbal tea. It is also often used for bathing and as an ingredient in homemade skincare and cosmetics.

How to Use:

Use 1 teaspoon of flowers for every 200 ml of water (and one for the pot). Steep for 5 minutes, or a little longer for a stronger flavour. Best served without milk. Sweeten with a little honey, if desired. Or chill and serve as a have a refreshing iced tea. Chamomile is lovely in tea blends with lemon, mint or cinnamon. Use this certified organic chamomile in homemade soap, skincare and potpourri mix. Pop some in a cloth bag in your draws or pillow to keep them smelling sweet! Or add it to your bath with some Epsom salts for a relaxing soak (wrap the chamomile flowers in a piece of cloth & tie the end to make clean up easy).

Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
