This fun Easter Smash Egg Kit comes with everything you need to create a colourful and delicious lolly filled Easter egg. The kit contains creamy milk chocolate, lolly shop classics, chocolate jewels and orange chocolate balls and a reusable silicone mould.

The kit is packaged in a recyclable box to ensure there isn’t any unnecessary plastic this Easter!


Make the egg shells!

Place 120g choc buttons into a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high for 30 seconds. Stir with a metal spoon then put back in for another 10 seconds. Mix again. If not fully melted, put it back in for a few more seconds.

Carefully pour the melted chocolate into the blue mould and then move the mould around until it’s all coated inside. Before the chocolate sets, drain the excess back into the bowl.

Put the mould in the fridge for 10 minutes to set and then pour another thin layer inside it to thicken the shell a little bit more. You might need to microwave the melted chocolate for another 10 seconds if it has started to set. Put the mould back in the fridge for an hour to make sure it is fully set then gently peel the blue silicone away to reveal the chocolate half shell. Pop it on a plate and back in the fridge.

Repeat all of these steps again to make the second half shell using the rest of the chocolate buttons.

Write on the little card.

While the shells are in the fridge, write a heartfelt message on the little card. Fold it in half ready to hide inside the egg.

Join the shells together!

Take the shells from the fridge and fill one half with all of the lollies and the little card.

Now it’s time to melt the flat edge of the other half, just a little, to stick them both together. To do this, warm a frypan on very low heat for one minute. Place the unfilled shell, flat edge down, onto the pan and remove it immediately. This is just long enough to melt the edge. Quickly pop the two halves together, lining up the edges, and then hold them until set.

Put the whole egg into the fridge for at least 10 minutes or until you’re ready to give it as a gift or smash it!
