Cranberry Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix is a recipe-in-a-jar with sweet and tangy cranberries complemented by dark chocolate buttons.
These baked cookies freeze well, making them great to have on hand for a sweet snack.
Homemade cranberry choc chip cookies are a healthy and delicious snack for school and work.
To Add:
• 115g butter, melted (or coconut oil)
• 1 egg, lightly beaten
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
Method:
1. Preheat oven to 170˚C. Line two baking trays with silicone mats.
2. Place the contents of the jar into a large bowl and mix until all ingredients are combined.
3. Add butter, egg and vanilla. Mix well.
4. Roll heaped tablespoons of dough into balls. Place on a baking tray, about 10cm apart. Flatten slightly with a fork.
5. Bake in a moderate oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and the edges are firm. Cool on a wire rack.
Any leftover cookies can be stored in the jar for up to 7 days. Suitable for freezing.
