Lush, flavoursome leeks are washed and dried before they are chopped into these versatile flakes. They contain absolutely no additives – just 100% leek.
They have a distinctive flavour typical of leeks and are a mix of green and white flakes taken from both parts of the leek leaves.
These flakes are a quick and convenient way to add extra flavour to savoury dishes.
How to Use:
Dried leek flakes are a delicious, all-natural ingredient to add a flavour boost to soups, pasta sauces, risotto and hotpots.
They go well with vegetables, tempeh, eggs, meat poultry or seafood. Add a great savoury taste to home-baked herb bread, savoury scones and muffins, pies or quiche.
The flakes also blend well with our other vegetable flakes and tomato granules in our range to make flavoursome broths and stocks. They are also suitable for vegan dishes.
