Celtic Sea Salt is authentic, unprocessed, whole salt from the pristine coastal regions in France. It is hand-harvested, to ensure it retains its natural state, and contains nothing artificial. Fine Celtic Salt is partially dried at a low temperature before it is ground.


Celtic Salt has a rich but not overbearing savoury flavour, is naturally slightly moist and retains its unprocessed, unbleached pale grey colour. This unique salt is a delicious addition to recipes and can be used as a condiment.

How to Use:

Fine Ground Celtic Sea Salt is a perfect all-purpose salt for convenient use as a condiment at the table, or as a cooking and baking ingredient. It imparts a rich, exceptional flavour that enhances the taste of any dish. Add a pinch to porridge or smoothies to bring out the flavours.

Use it in recipes during cooking or lightly sprinkle over dishes before serving.

Celtic Salt is not suitable for use in a grinder or mill due to its moisture content, however, it works wonderfully in a mortar and pestle with fresh and dried spices. Try it with sesame, coriander and cumin seeds, a few peppercorns and a pinch of dulse flakes for a delicious savoury sprinkle or accompaniment to dipping oil and crusty bread.

At the table, serve Celtic salt in a small dish or salt crock rather than a shaker.

Storage:

Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
