Glace fruit is also known as ‘candied’ or ‘crystallised’ fruit. These delicious whole figs have been prepared in a sugar syrup and have a sweet flavour and aroma.
How To Use:
These beautiful, whole figs have been candied in sugar syrup to give them a deliciously sweet flavour that is prized in baking and cake decorating.
These are a must in celebration cakes and can also be piled on top with other colourful glacé fruit, coconut flakes, walnuts, cashews and almonds then sprinkled with icing sugar for a festive touch.
Serve them on a cheese platter with a sharp cheddar and nuts.
Storage:
Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. See Best Before date.
