Glace fruit is also known as ‘candied’ or ‘crystallised’ fruit. These delicious, little whole pears have been prepared in a sugar syrup and have a sweet flavour and aroma.
How To Use:
These pretty little pears have been sweetened with sugar syrup and are wonderful in baked goods and on desserts.
Add some to homemade ice cream, gelato or toffee.
They look beautiful half dipped in chocolate.
Cut in quarters and place them so that they just poke out of a glass filled with chocolate mousse or pile them up with other glacé fruit as the crowning glory on a celebration cake.
Storage:
Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. See Best Before date.
