This gluten free high protein flour has been blended from Australian grown stone-ground grains and seeds to be suitable for use in most recipes that require wheat flour.
It is a plain flour that can be used in all areas of cooking and baking where plain or all-purpose flour is called for. This flour is a good source of protein (14%). Gluten free high protein plain flour has a delightful, slightly nutty flavour that is great for sweet or savoury recipes, with a natural aroma and a medium-fine texture. It contains no artificial additives or preservatives and is non GMO.
How to Use:
This is a versatile and conveniently pre-blended wheat free plain flour that can be used for baking, ‘flouring’ meat, seafood or vegetables, sauces, batters, and every day cooking needs. It makes wonderful pizza bases, bread, muffins, cakes, biscuits and pancakes. Simply substitute equal amounts of this flour as the original recipe for plain wheat flour, or use as directed in wheat free recipes. As this is a plain flour it is necessary to add a raising agent, such as yeast or baking powder, when self-raising flour is called for in a recipe.
Storage:
Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Refrigeration is recommended in warm climates.
