How To Use:
Add a pinch to marinades with garlic, soy sauce and citrus juices to give warm, aromatic notes. For a meat rub, mix with cinnamon, cumin and paprika.
Combine ½ tsp cinnamon, ¼ tsp allspice and ¼ tsp cloves as a spice blend for baked apples, stewed fruit and desserts.
Use ¾ tsp ground cloves in place of 1 tsp whole cloves.
Start with a small amount in curries, soups and rice dishes because a little goes a long way. Taste as you go.
