This lecithin is made from non-GMO soya bean oil in the USA. It contains no fillers or artificial additives. Soy Lecithin granules have a natural, slightly nutty taste and aroma. They are a pale, yellow colour with a soft, sticky texture. Lecithin can be sprinkled over breakfast foods or savoury dishes, and is used as an emulsifying ingredient in baking, confectionery and ice cream recipes.
How to Use:
Lecithin can be used in breakfast dishes; add 1-2 tsps. to smoothies or sprinkle over natural yoghurt, fruit salad, muesli, porridge and acai bowls. Or add some to soups and savoury dishes before serving. Soy Lecithin is often used as an emulsifier in foods, assisting oils and water to combine smoothly. For this reason, it is a popular addition to confectionery and baked goods. Combine a few teaspoons of lecithin, until dissolved, with the liquids in a bread mix for a loaf with a smooth texture.
Can also be used in cakes, muffins and home-made chocolate, caramel and confectionery. It works well to combine ice cream recipes, and is particularly good in recipes made with nut or grain mylk.
