This local organic kombucha is a refreshing, fermented tea that’s lower in sugar than most fizzy drinks and contains plenty of good bacteria. Our kombucha is available on tap so you can buy as much or little as you want.
Kombucha is a light, generally fruity but sometimes tangy, beverage made by fermenting green or black tea with sugar and a special culture of natural yeast and bacteria known as ‘scoby’. The fermentation process results in a very low sugar content and produces a delightful, slightly bubbly, drink that is extremely refreshing.
Our stores stock locally produced kombucha that is carefully crafted from the best natural and organic ingredients. Flavours vary from season to season and location to location. They may include mango, turmeric, passionfruit, lemon and lime, ginger, berries, hibiscus…the list goes on. Please ask your local store what delicious combinations they have available. Tastings are definitely encouraged!
We receive our freshly created kombucha in kegs directly from the local ‘brewer’ and keep it refrigerated – ready to refill your own container or one of ours.
