This pure Cacao Butter is extracted at a low temperature from roasted cacao beans. The buttons are Certified Organic and Fair Trade and have no sugar or anything artificial added. These smooth Cacao buttons are a pale yellow colour with a delectable, natural cacao flavour and aroma.
There may be some variation in button shape, but their small size makes them easy and convenient to use. Cacao Butter is perfect for delicious treats, including home-made chocolate, ice cream and desserts.
How to Use:
This convenient Cacao Butter can be used in smoothies, homemade ice creams, dairy-free or milk chocolate, and desserts. These organic buttons melt easily at a low temperature of about 35o C. Place the required amount in a bowl over a pot of hot water and stir with a wooden spoon until a smooth, fluid texture is achieved. Add to recipes as required.
Cacao butter may also be used as a face and body moisturiser. Add to a warm bath or rub directly onto skin after bathing.
Storage:
Store in an airtight container in a cool (18-20oC), dry place, away from direct sunlight. Refrigeration recommended in warm conditions. See Best Before date.
