Castor oil is a versatile carrier oil that can be used for countless body and hair products. The rich ricinoleic and linoleic acid content provides antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties when applied to the skin. It’s also a popular emulsifier in cosmetic applications, including creams, lotions, body butters and soaps.

How To Use:

Apply directly to the skin or blend with other carrier oils to thin out Castor oil which has a thick, sticky nature. The linoleic acid in Castor Oil creates a protective barrier on the skin. Essential oils can also be added to perfume the skin.

Create a massage oil by combining a ratio of a third Castor Oil to two thirds almond or grapeseed oil. Massage gently into the skin.

Apply oil to scalp, hair roots and ends of your hair to create a nourishing hair treatment. Leave as long as desired. Proceed to shampoo thoroughly afterwards.
