This maize flour is made from organic yellow maize (corn) grain that is simply milled into soft yellow flour.
Maize flour is the same as what Americans might call corn flour but confusingly, cornflour in Australia is a different product and much finer.
How To Use:
Maize flour works well in combination with either plain wheat flour or gluten free plain flour to bake soft and fluffy corn bread and soda bread or use it on its own to make flat breads, tortillas and crispy corn chips.
Makki ki roti, a wheat free flat bread, is easy to prepare with just maize flour, water and ghee. Serve it with saag, an Indian curry made from mustard leaves, spinach or bitter greens.
Storage:
Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. See Best Before date.
