These mouth-watering organic cashews are roasted in sunflower oil and lightly salted. They have a scrumptious toasted flavour, crunchy texture and fresh nutty aroma.
Roasted salted cashews are a delicious snack when you want a quick energy boost. They are also a great addition to sweet (think salted caramel) and savoury recipes or can be used to make fabulous, fresh nut butter.
How to Use:
These organic roasted & salted cashews are great for snacking on their own or in a trail mix with seeds and dried fruit.
Add them to salads and savoury dishes. Toss over salads, through noodle dishes or add some to stir-fries and curries. Finely chopped to use in pesto, dips and as a base for sauces like satay. Omit or adjust the salt in recipes to allow for the added salt on the cashews.
Try them in a recipe for homemade ‘salted’ caramel, toffee, chocolates or ice cream.
Grind these roasted-salted cashews for wonderful, fresh, additive-free nut butter. For something different add some coconut flakes or a few cacao nibs before grinding the nuts.
Storage:
Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Refrigeration recommended in warm climates.
