A wonderful blend of Rooibos, a naturally sweet, caffeine-free red tea, combined with aromatic spices. Rich and gently spiced, this perfectly blended chai is a perfect winter warmer or can be iced for a refreshingly cool summer beverage. Rooibos (otherwise known as ‘red tea’ or ‘red bush tea’) is part of the Fabaceae family of plants, that originate in South Africa. It is valued for its wonderful full-bodied, naturally sweet flavour, and because it is low in tannin and rich in antioxidants.

How to Use:

Use 1 teaspoon of this Rooibos chai blend for each cup of boiling water. Steep for 5 minutes. Enjoy as is, or add milk and sweetener, if desired. Chill rooibos chai tea and serve with plenty of ice and slices of lemon or orange. A strong infusion can be used to add wonderful rich and spicy notes to homemade ice cream, desserts and baked goods.

Storage:

Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
