This White Quinoa, technically a seed not a grain, is Organically grown in Peru. It has a firm texture and slightly earthy flavour.
How To Use:
Cooked quinoa can bulk up salads, give a new look to leftovers or absorb sauces from any main meal, just like rice.
Make light, summery meals by combining quinoa with fish or seafood, avocado and seasonal vegetables and serve with a tahini dressing.
Before cooking, rinse in a sieve under running water to remove the naturally occurring saponin that can be bitter. Simmer 1 cup quinoa in 2 cups water or stock for about 15 mins. Let rest for 10 mins.
