Spelt is an ancient form of wheat which some people find easier to digest. It has a delightful, fresh nutty taste and aroma.


How To Use:

Spelt grain can be ground into flour or cooked and used in whole grain salads.

Presoak the grain overnight before cooking but even then it can take several hours. Use a pressure cooker to reduce cooking time.

Organic spelt grain can be sprouted on a tray, just as you would wheat grass, to use the leaves in juices and smoothies.
