Organic Australian grown spelt grain is stoneground before the bran is sifted off, leaving this delicious plain white flour.

Spelt is an ancient grain related to wheat that has a nutty taste and aroma and some find it easier to digest.


How To Use:

Use it when a recipe calls for plain or all-purpose flour such as in bread, baked goods, batters and when thickening sauces.

Spelt flour often requires a little less moisture than wheat flour so start by reducing liquid by 10% and add more if needed. It may also not rise as much as other flours so add a little bit more raising agent if one is used in the recipe.

Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. See Best Before date.
