A rich, complex spice blend that adds wonderful flavour to sweet or savoury recipes, this is an essential in Moroccan cooking but is so much more.
Use as a spice rub or marinade for fish, tofu, vegetables or meat when barbecuing or roasting.
Wonderful in dips, soups and tagines as well as in rice and couscous dishes. Also useful in some baked goods.

How To Use:
Dust grilled tomatoes or hot buttered corn with ras el hanout before serving or sprinkle over veggies, chicken and lamb before roasting or barbecuing.
It goes wonderfully with dried fruit and nuts. Roast figs in ras el hanout and honey then serve in a salad with halloumi, rocket and prosciutto topped with toasted almonds.
Combine 1 tsp ras el hanout, 2 tbs olive oil, juice of a lemon and 1 cup tahini or yoghurt for a fabulous dip or turn it into a dressing, marinade or sauce by adding some water.
