This pure 100% Raw Australian Honey is sourced locally to our stores, whenever possible.
With a rich golden colour and sweet aroma, this honey has a mild floral flavour that may have seasonal variations. It contains no preservatives or additives of any kind and has been extracted and processed at low temperatures to maintain its natural goodness.
Honey is a delicious and versatile sweetener for beverages, raw or baked goodies, or as an ingredient in sweet or savoury dishes.
Our honey is available to pour in-store using your own container or you can buy one of ours. You can buy as much, or little as you want.
How to Use:
This Australian Honey is a delicious sweetener in hot beverages, especially herbal or black teas. It can also be dissolved in a little warm water and added to iced tea. Enjoy honey at breakfast time drizzled on porridge, muesli or yoghurt, on toast, crumpets or pancakes.
Honey is also yummy in smoothies, particularly green leaf blends. Use it in raw food recipes including chia puddings, Acai bowls, slices and super balls. In home-baked goodies replace sugar with honey in biscuit, muffin, bread and cake recipes.
Honey is delicious in marinades and sauces; with tofu or tempeh; and is wonderful for basting roasts and baked hams, or drizzled over baked carrots and sweet potato. A little honey can be used to give sweetness to soups, stir-fries and hotpots.
It is also great in salad dressings, especially with mustard. If honey crystallises, a natural occurrence, place the jar in warm water until crystals dissolve.
