Soulful Daily Loaf Mix is a wonderful in-house blend; a recipe-in-a-jarThis grain-free bread recipe combined Organic quinoa flakes with fresh crunchy seeds and raw hazelnut kernels. Everyone – young and old; will enjoy the ease of this ready to go mix – and the satisfaction of home-baked goodies (although a little patience is required)Just combine with a few liquid ingredients, leave to stand for a few hours – then bake & eat. No yeast required. Handy to have in the pantry, this natural bread mix also makes a fun gift. 


How to Use:

To make this Soulful Daily Loaf you will also need:

  • 1 tbsp. of Maple Syrup (or similar)
  • 3 tbsp melted Coconut Oil
  • 350 ml of water

Combine all dry ingredients from the jar in a large bowl. Whisk all the wet ingredients together, then add to dry ingredients. Mix until thoroughly combined (add 1-2 tbsp. extra water if mix is too stiff to mix). Cover with a cloth and leave to rest on the bench for at least 2 hours (or overnight). Dough is ready if it holds its shape when you pull it away from the edge of the bowl. Preheat oven to 175°C. Place dough into a loaf tin lined with baking paper. Bake on the centre rack of oven for 20 minutes. Remove the loaf from the tin and return to the oven, upside down directly on oven rack. Bake for extra 30-40 minutes – until crust is a golden colour and the bread sounds hollow when you knock on it.  Allow to cool slightly before slicing.

Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days, or freeze. This recipe-in-a-jar makes a great gift for anyone who likes to bake.  

Storage:

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Refrigeration recommended in warm climates.

Up to 3 months when stored as above. See Best Before date.
