Spirulina is part of the blue-green algae family that can be consumed by humans and animals. It has a wide range of nutrients and vitamins. Its vibrant green colour can be used in place of food colouring or even to die fabrics! This spirulina is cultured in clean, unpolluted mineral-rich water without the use of any pesticides, herbicides or fertilisers. It does not contain any binding agents, fillers or animal products.
How to Use:
Most people use Spirulina in shakes, fresh juice or smoothie bowls. Or add it to your pesto or broccoli tots to make the colour pop! Another fun idea is to add it to your homemade lemonade for an electric green drink your kids will love! Raw food treats – pudding, slices, balls. Baking – add to bread; swirl through muffin batter. Stir into soups & hotpots just before servingon.
