This Wattle & Bush Dukkah Seed Crackers Mix is a scrumptious in-house blend; a recipe-in-a-bagWarm, earthy flavours of Australian wattle seeds & bush Dukkah spices are combined with a delicious blend of insecticide-free or organic seeds to create crunchy-crisp savoury crackers. Everyone – young and old; will enjoy the ease of this ready to go mix – and the satisfaction of home-baked goodies. Just combine with warm water, and before you know it the delightful aroma of warm seed crackers will be wafting from the oven. Handy to have in the pantry, this wonderful recipe mix also makes a fun gift.

How to Use:

To make Seed Crackers you will also need:

  • ½ teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper or Australian pepper-berry
  • 1.25 litres of slightly warm water

Mix the contents of the bag in a large bowl and combine with water. Turn oven on to pre-heat to 180°C, while you let the mix stand for around 30 minutes to allow the water to absorb and for the mix to thicken slightly to a gooey consistency. Stir mixture again, then spread evenly on to paper-lined oven tray. Bake for 30 minutes at 180°C. Remove from the oven, gently turn slab out and remove the baking paper. Return crackers to oven and bake for around 10 minutes longer. Remove from oven and allow to cool before breaking slab into cracker size pieces.

Enjoy with your favourite dips and toppings, or store in an air-tight container for later. This recipe-in-a-bag makes a great fun gift for children or anyone who likes to bake.
