Blanched almonds have simply had their skin removed so that they have a more delicate almond flavour for baking and coating in cholate.
They have a delicious creamy nut flavour and aroma with a firm, crunchy texture.
How To Use:
Use them as a traditional decoration for festive cakes or combine them with glacé cherries to adorn an ice cream sundae.
Toast blanched almonds in a dry pan to sprinkle over Asian dishes or roast them in the air fryer for about 7 mins, covered with olive oil, smoked paprika, dried rosemary and salt for a Spanish-style snack.
