This South African inspired salt rub combines sweet and warm spices with the zing of cayenne and chilli flakes.

Rub it directly onto meat before placing it onto the barbecue or grill.

The natural juices will combine with the rub to create a unique flavour combination of fiery salt with a touch of sweetness. Delicious with chicken, ribs, seafood or any cut of meat.

How To Use:

On the day before barbecuing, rub this blend dry onto meat or mix with liquid such as olive oil, lime juice, Worcestershire sauce or bourbon to marinate. Add brown sugar or honey for sweetness but reduce the heat so it doesn’t burn.

The sweet and spicy flavours are wonderful sprinkled over grilled corn or a medley of roasted vegetables. Add it to hearty soups or slowcooked hotpots.

Put this blend on the table in small pinch bowls for guests to sprinkle onto their own meal.
