A fabulous mix of Australian dried citrus slices – full of all-natural colour, with wonderful tangy flavours and a tantalising aroma.
Premium citrus, grown in Queensland, is selected and dried with absolutely no additives. Depending on seasonal availability, this combo will include at least four of these five fruits – blood orange and ruby grapefruit, combined with lemon, lime and orange slices.
Convenient and easy to use – especially when fresh citrus is unavailable. Add some to desserts, baked goods and hot or cold savoury recipes – or enjoy it as a snack.
How to Use:
These delectable natural slices of mixed Australian citrus are not only full of flavour they also look wonderful. A great for decoration baked goods and deserts, or pop some onto a cheese board or antipasto platter for extra colour and flavour.
Use whole slices or cut into pieces for homemade muffins and cakes, fruit bread, biscuit and muesli bars. Add a modern twist to traditional mince tarts and boiled fruit cakes by replacing mixed peel with this dried citrus. Mixed citrus is also lovely in steamed puddings, slices, compote, ice cream and gelato.
Dice to use this citrus in pickles and chutneys, stuffing mixes, and salt rubs for meat or fish. Or add directly to slow-cooked curries and stews.
These colourful circles are fabulous in sauces for poultry, fish, and meats or combined with dried herbs on roasted vegetables.
Toss roughly cut pieces through couscous, quinoa dishes or rice salads for a fresh, bright flavour boost.
