Made from coconut shells, activated using high-pressure steam at high temperature, multiplying the pores in the charcoal and making it highly absorbent.
Activated charcoal can be used to assist in detoxing.
It can be consumed in water or used as a paste for external applications such as a face mask to detox and purify the skin or as toothpaste.
How To Use:
Activated charcoal helps pull oil and dirt from pores, making them less visible.
Make a face mask with 1 part charcoal and 1 part bentonite then add enough water to form a paste. Appy to the face, avoiding the skin around eyes and lips. After 10 mins, rinse and moisturise. For a gentle scrub, add a little linseed.
We recommend that you always open a jar of activated charcoal outside. Since activated charcoal is negatively charged, which is why it absorbs so well, when you open the lid, a small puff of fine powder will probably escape from the jar and make a bit of a mess in the bathroom so open it outside and then come back in to use it. You will thank us for this tip the first time you open your jar!

**Please Note: Remove lid outdoors as charcoal can burst out when first opened.
