Our Chocolate House Kit comes with everything you need to create a colourful and delicious chocolate house. The kit contains creamy milk chocolate, and lots of fun decorating treats including white chocolate buttons, colourful jubes and chocolate jewels as well as reusable silicone moulds for building your house.

The kit is packaged in a recyclable box to ensure there isn’t any unnecessary plastic this Christmas!

Method:

  1. Place the milk chocolate buttons into a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on High for 30 seconds. Stir with a metal spoon, then put back in the microwave for another 30 seconds. Mix again. If not fully melted, put it back in the microwave at 10-second intervals until fully melted.
  2. Carefully pour the chocolate into the silicone moulds and then use a palette knife or spatula to wipe off any excess chocolate; this will be used to ‘glue’ the house together. Place the moulds on a metal tray. Place them in the fridge for an hour to make sure they are fully set, then gently peel back the silicone to reveal the house parts and decorations. Place chocolate pieces on the cool oven tray to help keep the chocolate cool while you build your house.
  3. Reheat the leftover milk chocolate in the microwave until fully melted. Start by using a little melted chocolate to stick the four walls together. Keep aside five jubes for later and place the remaining jubes and the chocolate jewels inside the walls. Continue by attaching the roof with a little more melted chocolate. Attach the door with a little melted chocolate and leave it slightly open to show the lollies inside. The chocolate trees slide together and the people and animal decorations will stand on their own.
  4. Place the white chocolate buttons into a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on High for 30 seconds. Stir with a metal spoon, then put back in the microwave for another 10 seconds. Mix again. If not fully melted, put it back in the microwave for a few more seconds.
  5. Transfer the melted white chocolate to a reusable piping bag and carefully pipe along the roof pattern to pipe snow onto the roof. Pipe a line of melted white chocolate across the centre of the roof panels and place the five jubes along the roof.

Storage:

Store bag in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. See Best Before date.

NOTE: Our chocolates are cool, but the weather is not. We will do our best to protect them when being delivered, but they may be heat affected if travelling long distances. Unfortunately, we can't guarantee that they will arrive in the same shape as when they left us.
