Fruit and Nut Stuffing Mix

Our recipe-in-a-jar mix for Fruit and Nut Stuffing is a scrumptious in-house blend.
This mix of premium nuts and succulent dried fruits creates the perfect stuffing for a chicken, turkey, or pork loin roast. An easy and delicious blend to complement the traditional roast dinner.
Cook separately and replace the butter for guests who are vegetarian or vegan. Add a little lemon rind or ground sumac and use it in baked whole fish or on top of grilled scallops.
How to Use:
To make this delicious stuffing mix you will also need 50 grams of softened butter (or 2 tablespoons of olive oil).
Put the contents of this jar into a food processor and chop to a fine, breadcrumb consistency. Add 50g of chopped, softened butter and continue to process until well combined.
To use in a chicken or turkey, form the stuffing into small balls and push it into the cavity. Hold in place with half a lemon. This stuffing blend can also be used inside a rolled pork tenderloin. Cook as per the instructions for the roast meat.
To cook the stuffing separately, form into a ball and place in a small casserole dish. Add 125mL liquid stock and bake, with the lid on, for around 35 minutes at 180˚C or 160˚C in a fan-forced oven.
