Our Vegan Cheezy Pasta recipe-in-a-jar is a great dairy-free cheezy dish free of artificial additives or preservatives and suitable for vegans.

This recipe has our organic quinoa and rice penne as the dish’s star, with seasonings that will excite your tastebuds.

A lovely dish on its own or it can be made into a pasta bake with a side of vegetables or salad to make it go further.

Keep it in the pantry for a last-minute meal.


To Add:

• 625mL boiling water
• 2 tbs olive oil

Method:

1. Pour the contents of the jar into a medium saucepan, along with boiling water and olive oil.
2. Bring to a boil whilst whisking to dissolve the coconut milk powder
3. Continue to cook, stirring often, for 10-15 minutes or until the sauce has thickened and the pasta is cooked.
4. Remove from heat and allow to stand for 5 minutes. Season with cracked pepper.

For a pasta bake, pour cooked Cheezy Pasta into a greased baking dish and top with grated vegan cheese. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes or until the top is crisp and golden.

Any leftovers can be returned to the jar and refrigerated for up to two days.
