Navy beans, also known as haricot or Boston beans, are a small sized legume.
They have a light flavour, natural savoury aroma and a smooth texture when cooked.
How To Use:
These are our favourite for hearty, homemade baked beans with smoked paprika and sweetened with molasses.
Use beans as a satisfying and inexpensive addition to minestrone, stews and veggie burgers. For an amazing salad, combine with quinoa, chickpeas, red onion, cucumber, feta, pistachios, herbs and a lemon vinaigrette.
Presoak overnight then cook for 45 to 90 mins. Don’t add salt to beans until the end of cooking as it can affect the tenderness.
Storage:
Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. See Best Before date.
