Organic LOVE cacao powder is made from the finest heirloom criollo cacao beans that are grown regeneratively in the wild by the traditional custodians of the land, the Ashaninka people. Using traditional methods handed down from generation to generation, the cacao is sustainably cultivated under the Amazon forest canopy without the need for fertiliser, chemicals, machinery or irrigation.
This ethically sourced, wildcrafted raw cacao powder is then hand-blended in Australia with organic superfoods – carob and lucuma. Rose petal powder and evaporated coconut nectar give a delightful, subtle floral flavour and aroma to this decadent cacao. It is vegan-friendly and contains no gluten or preservatives – a perfect, natural indulgence that is fabulous in hot and cold drinks or as a replacement for plain cacao in all your favourite recipes.
How to Use:
Love cacao is an irresistible addition to hot or cold beverages. For a warming latte gently heat 250 mls of your preferred milk. Try coconut, oat, almond or soy. Mix in a tablespoon of this powder then whisk or blitz to froth just before serving.
Replace the warm milk with cold and blend to make a delicious, floral chocolate shake. Blend love cacao with chilled coconut water and serve with lots of ice for a cool milk-free option. Add 1 tablespoon of this organic drinking powder to your favourite mix of superfoods, fruit or greens, and milk of choice, for a fabulous smoothie.
Love cacao is perfect in chia or sago puddings, homemade chocolate ‘bark’ or ice creams. Dust a little over acai or smoothie bowls. A wonderful way to add the subtle flavour of rose petals balanced with raw cacao to baked or raw treats. Use it to replace plain cacao in a smooth sauce to top sundaes, pancakes and desserts or to make icing for a special cake before sprinkling with dried petals.
