This Certified Organic Puffed Amaranth has been simply puffed, without any added oil, salt or sugar. It has a light, fresh texture with a slightly nutty flavour and aroma.
How To Use:
Blend your own light and tasty breakfast muesli by combining two scoops of rolled oats with half scoop each of puffed amaranth, nuts, seeds and dried fruit and mix in 3tsp cinnamon. This will let you choose all the flavours that you enjoy.
Puffed amaranth is a healthy way to lighten muesli bars and raw vegan chocolates or simply sprinkle them over yoghurt and fresh berries.
To create yummy bars simply melt ⅓ cup of coconut nectar or maple syrup with ¾ cup of any nut butter or pureed Medjool dates over a low heat. Add a little vanilla and 3½ cups of amaranth puffs, mix well and press into a lined tray to set for 2 hours in the fridge. Great for lunchboxes.
