Steel cut oats are made from the whole oat grain, also known as groats, including the bran. Only the outer husk is removed before the groat is sliced into small pieces with a steel blade.
How To Use:
You haven’t experienced deliciously creamy porridge until you’ve tried this unsung hero of the oat world.
It will keep you feeling full for hours but needs a bit of prepping beforehand.
The night before, bring 2 cups water to the boil in a pot then add 1 cup oats and a little salt. Stir. Put the lid on, turn the heat off. Leave on the counter overnight then in the morning, put the pan back on the heat and cook for 5 mins. Add some milk for extra creaminess.
Storage:
Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. See Best Before date.
