How to use:
Raw Walnuts, removed from their shells, can be enjoyed on their own as a quick snack, or combined with dried fruit and seeds to create a moreish trail mix. Added roughly chopped Walnuts to muesli, smoothies, acai bowls, oat or quinoa porridge, or natural yoghurt and fruit salad.
Raw nuts can be activated by soaking in water for 8-12 hours, before slowly dehydrating at very low heat. Walnuts can also be ground for fresh nut butter. For a little variety, everyone will love – add some coconut flakes or a few cacao nibs before blending.
Walnuts make a great plant-based protein alternative, try using them in a meat-free burger patty or rissole.
