Oat Bran is soft fibrous flakes of bran that have been separated from stabilised whole oats.
How To Use:
Oat bran is often used to give home baked bread a delicious crust and a lovely nutty flavour whilst providing an additional source of fibre and protein. Replace up to a quarter of the flour in a loaf with oat bran or dust it over the top just before baking.
Add a spoonful into breakfast cereal and yoghurt or make fibre-packed oat bran muffins.
Oat bran can also be used to thicken stews and soups.
