These oats are seasonally harvested, steamed and simply rolled in a press. They are full flavoured, slightly nutty, with a subtle fresh aroma.
How To Use:
Make traditional porridge on the stove top by bringing 1 part rolled oats, 2 parts water or milk and a pinch of salt to the boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Sweeten with honey or maple syrup and serve with extra milk. Keep rolled oats in the pantry for cookies, bread and slices or for making apple crumble.
Make fresh oat milk at home. It’s easy. Simply soak oats with a pinch of salt, in cold water (1:6) overnight. Sweeten to taste, with a little honey or coconut nectar. Blend for 2-3 minutes then strain through a clean cloth, squeezing the oats. Refrigerate in an airtight container. Oat milk will stay fresh for several days, just shake if it becomes separated.
Storage:
Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. See Best Before date.
