Entertaining is made easy with our convenient Spicy Seed Cracker mix, everything you need to create moreish crackers is included in the bag, just add water.
Packed full of a variety of seeds and complemented by dried herbs and spices, these crackers have a mild heat and full flavour that will please the masses.
Serve our Spicy Seed Crackers with dips, salsa or tapenade on your next grazing platter.
To Add:
• 350mL lukewarm water
Method:
1. Preheat oven to 150˚C.
2. In a bowl, mix the contents of the bag with the water.
3. Let stand for around 15 minutes to allow the water to absorb and the mix to slightly thicken to a gooey consistency.
4. Stir the mixture again, then spread a thin, even layer onto two oven trays that have been lined with baking paper.
5. Bake for about 50 to 60 minutes, depending on thickness.
6. For square crackers, cut them halfway through baking and return to the oven. Alternatively, they can simply be broken into rustic shapes after baking.
7. Turn the oven off and leave the crackers in the oven for an hour to further dry and crisp.
8. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely. Cut or break into pieces.
Store in an airtight container.
