Traditional rolled oats are combined with organic rye with the extra flavour of polenta and linseeds. Porridge Blend is non-GMO and contains no added flavours or sugar.
This delicious Australian grown and produced blend can be used as a hot or cold breakfast cereal or added to raw food and baking recipes.
How to Use:
Porridge Blend can be used as a flavoursome base for muesli and granola or cooked traditionally. To make porridge; cook 1 part Porridge Blend with 2 parts water (or milk of choice) for 8-12 minutes, stirring regularly till done. Adding cinnamon and a pinch of pink salt is delicious in porridge. Serve with a little maple syrup or honey.
This scrumptious blend can also be used in raw foods like smoothies or energy balls. Add it to home-baked bread, muffins and biscuits, including classic Anzacs.
Use Porridge Blend with shredded coconut and maple syrup as an irresistible topping for fruit crumbles.
Porridge Blend is also suitable to use in soups and hot pots, adding extra flavour and body.
Storage:
Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Refrigeration recommended in warm climates.
